What You Need to Become a MIFA Member
To help MIFA assess and verify your membership application, please have your business and supporting information ready before beginning the online application.
CIPC Registration Details
Provide your business or company CIPC registration number as part of your membership application.
Tax Certificate
Have a copy of your relevant Tax Certificate available to upload with your application.
B-BBEE Certificate
Have your B-BBEE Certificate or relevant supporting documentation ready for upload.
Responsible Contact Details
Provide the name, surname, contact number and email address of the person responsible for the membership account.
Member Account Details
Choose your username and secure password. These details will be used to access the MIFA member portal once the account is approved.
Application Review
All membership applications are submitted to MIFA for review before the membership account becomes active.
Submitting an application does not immediately activate MIFA membership. The information and supporting documentation supplied will first be reviewed by the MIFA team. Once approved, the applicable membership payment must be completed. After payment has been confirmed, the member account can be activated and a unique MIFA Membership Number issued.
Membership Fees & Payment
MIFA membership is subject to approval and the applicable membership fee. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, payment must be completed before your membership becomes active.
Your monthly membership contribution keeps your MIFA membership active and provides access to available benefits, representation and member support.
Where applicable, the once-off joining or activation fee is payable after your membership application has been approved.
Once your application has been approved, MIFA will provide the applicable payment instructions. Your membership will only be activated once payment has been confirmed.
Your MIFA membership becomes active once your application has been approved and the required membership payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
Your unique MIFA Membership Number is then issued and your member account is activated.
